Last night we spent a fun evening with Frank and Susan Kaspar and their family and Czech nanny......emphasis on Czech........Frank is a native Czech (first generation immigrant) who has spent a lot of time there recently, visiting relatives and working on behalf of Abugov Kasper Architects. The hospitality was great. We toured their newly renovated a added on to home backing on to the 18th hole of Earl Grey Golf Course. A house with history and a revitalized future.
At dinner Frank and Susan enthusiastically briefed us on the pitfalls of travel in the Czech republic. We laid out our itinerary and some of the sight's and ancestral research we were planning . Their nanny added information about the use of public transit. Frank provided critical translations for some documents and added background and must a see sightseeing itinerary. All this was backed up with maps and books which they provided for our education.
Well wined and dined and overloaded with facts we thanked out friends as we adjourned this visit in the wee hours of the night.
